What do I wear to training

Wear comfortable workout clothes such as tights or shorts with a t-shirt or singlet and good support bra and a pair of running shoes.

What do I need to bring to training?

Ensure you lather up with some sunscreen and wear a had/ visor, bring a water bottle and a towel, optional yoga mat and any toys or snack for your baby to keep them entertained.

Does my baby have to stay in the pram?

We have bub assistants available at our Mums n Bubs classes that are there to help watch your kids and play with them. That means we have extra eyes on the kids so they are able to play on the playground, go in the playpen etc. During strollerobics classes your kids are in the pram when we are on the move, and you are welcome to have them out on your mat or towel whilst we are stationary and training.

How soon after having a baby can I start training?

We require a release form from your health practitioner after your 6 week check up post-partum or 8-10 weeks after c- section. This will depend on individual circumstances and what your health practitioner has recommended for you.

I'm really unfit. Will I be ok to join?

Yes, no matter what your fitness level is there is always an option for you with lower options given when necessary. With our supportive group and motivating trainers your fitness will increase rapidly.

 

Do you offer Nutrition advice or eating plans?

Yes, when you join us you will receive and numerous information, files and eBooks to help you with nutrition and exercise. You also have 24/7 access to your trainer on our Facebook group you can ask any questions.

Is it safe to train if I have abdominal separation or pelvic floor issues?

Yes, your trainer will give offer you variations of exercises and you can choose the intensity level that suits you. Your trainer will discuss the options available for you to limit the risk of injury.

 

Do I have to have a baby to join in the classes?

No not at all! Our classes are for women only. We have early morning classes for the girls that need to head off to work, or just want to get in their training session early. Our later classes are our Mums n Bubs child friendly classes, you don't have to have kids to attend this session, we encourage all ladies to join us if the time suits.

 

Can men join in the sessions?

No, this is a testosterone free zone, women only to these sessions.

 

What kind of exercises are involved during the class?

At Good Health Resolutions no session is the same, all exercises carried out are fun and can also be modified for pregnant women or to cater for any injuries. Sessions include a mix of strength training, interval training, boxing for fitness, yoga, Pilates and lots of fun games.

 

What should I do if I feel unwell during the session?

Listen to your body and if you start to feel nauseous, dizzy or lightheaded, cramping up, muscle aches and sharp pains, please stop what you are doing and notify your trainer, these signs are your body warning you to slow down.

 

What happens if it rains?

We train rail, hail or shine. There is plenty of room undercover for everyone to train, including the kids. When there is really extreme/bad weather, your trainer will advise if the class is cancelled. Your trainer will notify you by text and post on the Facebook page. If a class is cancelled a make up session will be scheduled.

 

What if I miss a class?

No problems, when you join, as part of your membership you receive a Home Workout Program, you can do these from your living room at home or local park. We would rather you get the results you are after than miss out on a session. You will also receive our booty builder eBook you can do at home too! As part of your membership you have unlimited access to all our classes, please come to as many sessions as you can to get the best results.
